Offering early contracts for 2025-CALVING F1 Bred Heifers. Early Contract options: * Option 1-From AI Chute (May 5, 19, 25th & June 3rd) $2500/head * Option 2-From Preg Check Chute (August 20th). $2850/head * Option 3-Preg Checked twice. Fall Delivery (October 1st). $3000/head Program: Together with our partner, Bill Pitz of Farley, Iowa, we purchase roughly 60% of our Topp Herefords bull customers’ first cut F1 heifers. Before breeding we cull out about 4% of the heifers that aren’t performing as well as we would like. After the initial preg-check we cull another 5% for soundness, efficiency, and disposition. All heifers are on a full vaccination program. (see details below) Heifers are ultrasounded in August, then grouped and sold by projected calving dates. If shipped in October, they are re-pregged before load out.
