Were getting close to the end of the year, and anyone paying attention knows bred cows are getting harder to find by the week, especially good, middle-aged cows that are ready to go to work. 140 head, 1250 -1350 lbs, Near Cathay, ND. NEW DETAILS! Weve got 145 head of working bred cows weighing 1,250 to 1,350 lbs, all three to six years old and right in their prime. Theyll calve from April 1st through May 30th and have been ultrasounded in tight 30-day groups, with different color ear tags marking the month theyre due so theres no guessing. The group is made up of 40 black cows bred to black and to Black Topp Angus bulls, and 100 red cows bred to red and Charolais bulls. The red cows will average right around 1,350 lbs, with the black cows closer to 1,250 lbs. Theyve been properly vaccinated, they know how to work, and this is the kind of big, usable group you can get a lot done with.
