SELLER WILL PAY FREIGHT (up to 500 miles). (3-6 yr old bred cows) Calve April 1 – June 30th. We’re getting close to the end of the year, and anyone paying attention knows bred cows are getting harder to find by the week, especially good, middle-aged cows that are ready to go to work. 200 head, 1250 -1350 lbs, Near Cathay, ND. We’ve got 200 head of working bred cows weighing 1,250 to 1,350 lbs, all three to six years old and right in their prime. They’ll calve from April 1st through June 30th and have been ultrasounded in tight 30-day groups, with different color ear tags marking the month they’re due so there’s no guessing. The group is made up of 40 black cows bred to Topp Angus bulls, 40 Hereford cows bred to black bulls, and 120 red cows bred to red and Charolais bulls. The red and Hereford cows will average right around 1,350 lbs, with the black cows closer to 1,250 lbs. They’ve been properly vaccinated, they know how to work, and this is the kind of big, usable group you can get a lot done with. Load lots are available, the seller will cover trucking up to 500 miles, and with cows tightening up and taxes on everyone’s mind, this is a priced-right buy that makes sense before year end.
