Delivery options: * From Preg Check Chute (Aug 20-23). $2850/head * Fall Delivery (October 1-10). $3000/head Black F1, Red F1 & Hereford Heifers available. Heifers are ultrasounded in August, then grouped and sold by the projected calving dates: Feb 10-20 Feb 21-28 Mar 1-7 Mar 8-15 Mar 16-Apr Apr 2-30 May 1-25 TH Pitz Heifer Development Program: We purchase roughly 60% of our Topp Herefords bull customers’ first cut F1 heifers. Before breeding we cull out about 4% of the heifers that aren’t performing as well as we would like. After the initial preg-check we cull another 5% for soundness, efficiency, and disposition.
